Welcome back to Alpine Race Day!
We’ve been hard at work during the offseason making significant improvements to Alpine Race Day. While we have an ambitious long-term vision for the platform and plenty more we want to build, Race Day continues to mature — and we’re excited about the improvements Clubs and Resorts will see this season.
Our work never stops.
A significant portion of our offseason work focused on fine-tuning things “under the hood.” While many of these improvements won’t be visible to Admins and Athletes, they will help make Alpine Race Day more stable, efficient, and easier to use.
Improvements you’ll notice this season:
- Improvements to the Race Upload process for Club administrators
- New Race Configuration options
- A long list of bug fixes and performance improvements
- Improvements to the Racer Merge process to reduce duplicate racers in the system
- Support for custom Course Names and clearer definitions of Race Formats
- Improvements to the Results Preview
- A new Publish step for Race Results, letting Admins close out a race without immediately making results publicly available
- Additional Race Details for athletes, including Pacesetter selection and Par Time information
- A more streamlined login process and menu system between the athlete and administrator sites
- Easier access for Admins to print Race Result PDFs
- And much more!

A dedicated support team this season
We’re continuing to actively develop the platform, and some issues may surface as the season gets underway. To address those quickly, we’re planning to have a dedicated support team available throughout the season. Your feedback continues to play an important role in helping us improve Race Day.
Here’s the plan.
Wondering what you need to do to get your Club ready for the season? Four steps, from now through December.
Development
Development work is still underway, with the goal of deploying the majority of our offseason improvements to the live site by the end of October. Some development will continue into the early part of the season as we refine and improve the platform.
Club Onboarding
We’re asking all Clubs to complete our Onboarding Form again this season. Please complete it as soon as you’re able. You do not need to have every Team, League, or Race detail finalized yet — we’re simply looking for a general understanding of your plans for the season. If your setup will largely remain unchanged, you can even tell us “same as last year.”
Once we receive your form, we’ll schedule a meeting with you to review your plans and configuration needs. Our goal is to complete these meetings by the end of November.
Invoicing
We’ll send season invoices during November. We ask that your invoice be paid before we begin your Club Configuration.
Club Configuration
Our goal is to have all Clubs fully configured — including Races and Teams — before the end of the year. If your Club has races earlier in the season, we’ll work with you to accelerate that timeline. We can discuss any special timing needs during your onboarding meeting.
Grateful to have you along for the journey.
Thank you for continuing to be part of the Alpine Race Day community. We’re excited about the progress we’ve made, even more excited about where Race Day is headed, and grateful to have you along for the ride.
We’ll be in touch soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please send us a message through the Contact form.

Let Alpine Race Day do the work for you while you enjoy your racing!
